(Download Ilka Kuhagen's CV) Ilka Kuhagen is a member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA), for which she served on the Board of Directors from 2006 to 2010 and for four years as chair of the Virtual Chapter. Today she co-chairs the QRCA International Committee. She is a current member of the advisory board (Fachbeirat) of BVM and AKqua. Ilka frequently speaks on international conferences such as GOR11 and Merlien. Moreover, she has been a speaker at the QRCA conference in Toronto in 2002 on ‘Partnering and Moderating in a Foreign Language Market’ and 2003 in Lisbon at the AQR/QRCA conference on ‘Cooperation with a Bavarian High School in order to assess changes and improve the quality of education’ and in 2007 in Vancouver on “Global Village – qualitative online research”. She was Speaker Co-Chair for the QRCA conference in Phoenix 2004, conference Co-Chair 2006 in Atlanta and Co-Chair for the Worldwide Conference on Qualitative Research in Prague 2010. Ilka Kuhagen was strongly involved in the evaluation of public schools for the “Bavarian Educational Pact” (Bildunsgpakt Bayern) and gained experiences in the management model of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). Ilka Kuhagen publishes regularly in professional magazines, both in Germany and abroad, and is engaged in the fundraising sector for non-profit organisations (em-faktor.de - German). She voluntarily consults the hospice society in Kirchheim/Munich and has been a board member of the State's Parental Association for many years.
