provide you with the information you need." Ilka Kuhagen is an independent researcher and consultant, based in Munich, Germany. After several years in consultancy Ilka Kuhagen founded IKM in 1994. She graduated from the Ludwig-Maximilian-University, Munich, in Business Administration, having focussed on marketing and psychology. She began her career 1982 within the Roland Berger business-consulting group, Roland Berger Forschungs-Institut, as project assistant and from 1983 on as project manager. In 1987 Ilka Kuhagen moved on to UBM International Industrial Research. For UBM she worked as Senior Project Manager and became head of the IT and International Studies department. In 1994 she founded IKM and has specialized on qualitative research within business-to-business and international research. Since then she has conducted more than 1000 focus groups and in-depth-interviews as part of the almost 200 studies she has been assigned. Being bilingual in English and German, and fluent in French and Spanish she is a truly international researcher. By contracting to native speaking moderators in other European countries and summarizing results in English she frequently extends this international dimension. Since 1983 Ilka Kuhagen lectures on Marketing at VHS Munich. For BIG Firmenseminare she coaches employees of German corporations in marketing and communication and time management. Ilka Kuhagen was a member of the board of directors of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA) and continues to take an active role within the organisation. She is also an active member of the German Association of Market and Social Researchers (BVM) and the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR) |
